Saltspring Island

This craftsman-style shingle home presented many construction challenges as it is built on the side of a large peat meadow on Salt Spring Island. The home is supported on long concrete pillars anchored below the water table on bedrock, far below the surface. At the end of a winding driveway, the stunning exterior details are mirrored inside this spacious home. Designed by Grant Sinclair Architects
